The Gate Theatre presents, as part of Dublin Culture Night 2009, an audience Q and A with award-winning Irish playwright Conor McPherson. Author of such plays as The Weir, ShiningCity, The Seafarer as well as the acclaimed films The Good Thief and I Went Down, McPherson will speak on stage at the Gate, about his latest play The Birds, which he wrote and directed. Re-imagined in a chilling new adaptation, McPherson has transformed The Birds into an unrelenting and spellbinding portrait of terror and alienation.
