PROGRAMME DETAILS
selected plays and writings by Harold Pinter
Friday 7th October
A reading of Family Voices. The façade of a happy family gradually disintegrates into a cauldron of recrimination. In typical Pinter style, nobody really communicates with each other and we learn as much from what is unspoken as what is said out loud.
Derek Jacobi (Father), Penelope Wilton (Mother) and Michael FitzGerald (Boy).
Saturday 8th October
A reading of Celebration.
Three couples, exemplars of 1990s greed, are having dinner in a fancy restaurant. They are ruthless in their pursuit of individual pleasures and in their disregard for others.
Stephen Brennan (Richard), Sinead Cusack (Prue), Janie Dee (Sukie), Donna Dent (Sonia), Michael Gambon (Lambert), Jeremy Irons (Russell), Derek Jacobi (Matt), Stephen Rea (Waiter) and Penelope Wilton (Julie).
Sunday 9th October
