Step centre stage this Culture Night, Friday 22nd September, and join us for a spoken word workshop at the Gate Theatre. Create your own spoken work with the possibility of presenting it on the renowned and iconic Gate stage.
Led by spoken word artist Hazel Hogan and Community Engagement Manager John Taite, this workshop promises an evening of fun, creativity, and performance.
There will be two workshops for this year’s Culture Night. The first workshop will be from 4:30pm to 6:00pm for ages 12 – 15. The second workshop will be from 6:30pm to 8:00pm for ages 16+ ; and the final workshop will take place from 8:30pm to 10:00pm for ages 18+.
All participants under 18 must be supervised by an adult.
No experience necessary. Admission is free, but places are strictly limited and must be reserved in advance.
