A conversation with Colm Tóibín, 2018-2019 literature mentor in the Rolex Mentor and Protégé Arts Initiative, and his protégé Colin Barrett, moderated by journalist and author Fintan O’Toole.
Among topics they will discuss: the short story versus the novel, the process of creating Pale Sister, the challenges of writing in different genres, what is the future of theatre, and how best to support the next generation of artists.
